I am not keen on it,the rear lacks the quality I would expect to find .
Post it on the European military collectors forum ...I think you will find similiar answer, always worth double checking .
Cheers
Steve

Default German cuff band

Your cuff title purports to be an RZM pattern machine embroidered other ranks version for wear by ss personel working in the various Ss head offices. However it should Have serifs on the arms of the letter S,the letters should not impinge on the upper silver border which itself should be made up of 7 silver bullion threads not 6.This pattern has no dash before the ss and the ss runes should be more vertical. This is an exceptionally rare badge and genuine examples sell for £ 1500 plus because of the high prices they are extensively faked.if you want to see an original of this pattern have a look at Bob Hritz site in the usa (bobhritz.com) . The actual black band weave of your example looks good but that brings up another minefield, fakers have got hold of original blank bands to upgrade to rare titles. If it was mine i would put it in the Fakes? box and show it to an ss specialist dealer at an arms fair but I wouldn`t bet your pension on it.hope this helps a bit. I gave up collecting Third Reich militaria after 40 odd years as the fakes are just too good and the mistakes too expensive. all the best Andrew

Hi Andrew and Steve
Thanks for your comments. I will check the other sites but I don't mind if it is fake as it came with a bunch of others which contained some I really wanted. This was just a filler and the whole lot only cost less then £20.
