SAP Flash

Hi, just obtained this flash of the SAP reaction unit, first time I have seen one and can find no details anywhere regarding it. Anyone know what period it was used or any other details around it, is it genuine? Got it from a dealer in the UK

Hi there. This may be a copy as the originals were yellow screen printing on white cloth. This one looks like someone tried to make it look like a Koevoet patch. Regards, Mark

Not sure if this will help. But late 1970's early 1980's the number for the Police Dunnottar Anti Riot Unit was number 6. I know many of these units later had Reaction Units and some of them wore unofficial Reaction Unit badges.
