Silver Crown, is it military or Police?
Hi all,
I just got this single Crown and I was intrigued of its construction. Also I haven't seen them before with the screw posts. Is it military or police? Also from what period it could be? I assume 1950-70s? Thanks, Timo

It is a Superintendent's rank Crown. The pattern and style of fitting is unique to the Metropolitan Police (London). It probably dates from pre. 1952. However, by default its actually current again.

Ah, thanks! So, common enough piece and not military.
Does some of you need it?
