Default Who’s Eagles are these

Pair of eagles collar badges? I thought Essex or Greys or Royal Dragoon’s but obviously different three views including base to show nothing removed

French style eagles often worn as Battle Honour I suppose could be arm badge also?
Would appreciate others thoughts

Regards

Stephen

I don't know what they were worn for, but they appear to be collar badges.
Too small to be anything else.

CB Mike Leigh thank you in my opinion nothing has been trimmed that’s the point.

And the reason for third image the design continues around the base.

This is one of the reasons I speculated as a arm badge!

Cam can you expand on the 9th please

Regards to all

Stephen

Two close up images of the bases and the back of these eagles it is clear they were made this way and nothing appears to be removed.

Nearly 400 views I am stumped on these as you can all see design continues around the base nothing clipped or removed IMO.

every one who has commented points in similar directions as my original thoughts

Question are they British? Could they actually be french?

Let’s hope someone recognises them

Thanks for all the views and help

Stephen
