Thanks Mick. Out of curosity does your forum think that badge is genuine?
BC, You'll have to make me eat my words because I`m very sceptical of the badge your describing. If its die struck it should be manufactured in Australia to a very high standard. All the originals I have seen were locally made in Egypt and Palestine. You have to remember that the majority of Australian camelers wore on the most part the general service cap badge or collar very few had these badges.
