Peter Garratt bought this book and looked through it at length.
His criticisms were:
- The book is a reprint of the Service Before Self: The History, Badges and Insignia of the Security Forces of the Rhodesias and Nyasaland, 1890-1980 with the same terrible black and white pictures. There are only two pages of colour.
- Many descriptions are the same as in Service Before Self.
- There are at least fourteen mistakes.
- There are at least five fakes shown or said to be genuine.
He wrote to Mark about six weeks ago with some questions and detailing the mistakes. A reply hasn't been received.
