It does, and I'm aware that Tarabelle has previously said that requests for info are to help out an elderly person who collects and also sells - I remember that, and so assume that these items are liable to be sold, others may not have seen it or remember it, so unless it's mentioned when the items are posted in new threads with requests for info and they're then spotted on ebay it can annoy.
Just mention the for sale/ possibly for sale aspect when a threads posted, simples, job done.
Or ask the moderators to remove the requirement to do so.
