Default James Bernard Brydon

I posted a short while ago about discovering a distant relative had been killed with The Irish Guards in Palestine just after WW2. I have now discovered that he died as a result of a motor accident and not as a result of the troubles.

It also now transpires that another distant relative of mine appears to have been a member of The Liverpool Scottish , he was the brother of the Irish Guardsman.

Details of James Bernard Brydon’s service in the Liverpool Scottish ( with thanks to Ian Riley and Dennis Reeves of the Liverpool Scottish Archive) is attached.

Amazing after more than 50 years interest in the Liverpool Territorials it seems I actually had a relative ( albeit a distant one ) in The Liverpool Scottish.

The world gets smaller and smaller!!!!
