To be clear, I am not giving an opinion either way as I have no experience with this variation of wing and only have Ken's book as a reference. Just sharing the opinion of another knowledgeable collector. If I came across this badge and the price was right I would probably take a chance as it looks well constructed. I suppose I could add that the color and type of thread does look very much like that used on a very nice repro WW2 Canadian pilot's wing that I recently picked up off ebay.
