2 - possibly a bilingual SA Air Force trade or mustering badge? A for 'Air' and L for 'Lug'. Can't think what the S and D would stand for, though.
3 - the winged wheel was the emblem of the SA Railways. Perhaps one of the SA Engineer Corps' railway operating companies?
