The first photograph is almost certainly related to the 6th/7th (Volunteer) Battalion of the Queen’s Regiment. From roughly 1975 until around 1993 most TA infantry Battalions were either NATO roled or Home Defence roled. Those designated Home Defence had an integral WRAC Platoon whereas NATO roled Battalions didn’t . The members of the WRAC platoons wore WRAC cap badge but also wore the cap badge of their parent regiment as a breast badge in Number 2 dress uniform
