Default Possible Ids

Good day Chay,

Foolishly, I gave up my copy of Zeev Schiff's book on the history of the Israeli Armed Forces. It was full of drawings of many hat badges and patches. I picked it up in Tel Aviv while on leave from the Golan Heights in 1976. Along with a few badges from a store on Dizengoff St.

Please forgive my poor memory, but what I seem to remember is that in the first row, second from the left is the badge for the General Staff (not 100% sure)

Second row, second from the left is Artillery, third from left is (again not 100% sure) Legal/Adjutant General.

Third row, second from left is the Armoured Corps.

Also, the Army badges were usually pickled bronze, so I believe that the badges that are silver in colour are for the Air Force.

Sorry that I can not be of any more help than that. I hope it helps in some way.

Regards,

Ian

Just googled this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Israel...orces_insignia
