Thanks guys, I will keep trying to do some more digging. We need to try and make sure we have the correct colours for the presentation.
The reason we are hunting for it is exactly as the reason listed.
My grandfather was Captain 2/33 Aus Inf Bn & was there on the day of the crash. As a young Lt. he had to lay out the body parts of his men for identification.
This year is the 70th anniversary of the crash, and there is a memorial service at the AWM September 6th (one day earlier).
