US Armd Badges
Hey Mike,
In the first photo of your second post, the badge in the lower left corner is the Combat Armoured Cavalry award. In all likelyhood, it is similiar to the Combat Infantryman award, given to a soldier in an Armoured unit who has seen combat.
Now, my reference material is way out of date, but states that it is an unofficial award; plus shows the bar as being Cavalry yellow. So, things may have changed since the book was published. Bar changed to green and maybe officially approved.
