I thought I should say 'hello' seeing as I've already posted a few messages!
I'm slowly but surely pulling together a website about Combined Operations Pilotage Parties (COPP). My grandfather was with them in the Far East, which is what prompted my interest.
My knowledge is still at an early stage, and there are lots of sources for me to still sift through. But I'm already being approached by some people wondering whether their relatives were in COPP and sending me photographs etc. – which poses a challenge given that my knowledge of military badges and insignia is almost zero!
So I hope you'll all forgive me if I lean on you folks a bit to tap into your knowledge. Sorry! But 'thank you'.
