Well, I have two possibles for this combination, neither of which I am confident of:-
1. Has the Cameronians strap with a sphinx below which is on a single horizontal flat lug - being ident (I believe) to the early pattern South Wales Borderers collar. This badge is discussed in Churchill's, but doubts they were ever worn (as a SWB collar badge that is).
2. Has the Cameronians strap with a slightly larger sphinx with two horizontal round wire lugs. However I also have this badge listed as a sporren badge for The Gordon Highlanders.
So, they are either both wrong (and there is yet a third sphinx) or one of them is correct as per the IWM documents.
