They do not appear to illustrate this plate but do illustrate what they call version "E" which has the title scroll " Sixteenth Lancers" and the battle honours placed in a different orientation. In 1900 two additional honours were awarded and a KC crown plate with these additional honours is recorded as "version F"

Thanks very much for taking the trouble to reply in detail. I was pretty sure that it was a valid item as replication of an example so rarely encountered would make no sense. This partial badge was offered to me at what I thought to be a very substantial price. So apparently rare but incomplete, so dithering. Thanks again for verifying its authenticity.
