LRDG cap badge help
I have purchased a badge from a dealer who I have brought from before and trust. He has invited me to do this research and promised me a full refund should I be unhappy.
He brought the badge back in the 1980s and it was attached to the belt of a an army battle dress, he had had it since then.
I have read many of the previous threads about these cap badges and tried to research as much as I can. I have noted comments like letters not being fretted out and back legs not touching but would still value feedback on the image I am attaching.
An earlier thread said to use digger history as a good point of reference, to me my badge looks identical to the one on this site marked Cast Original.
I have tried to take the best image possible so that it can be enlarged for detail. I cannot seem to upload more than one image so I will send a 2nd post with back image
