I once bought a 5th Lancs RVC helmet plate from Roger Verner and something he had not mentioned in the description was that the crown and top scroll were missing, so as can be imagined I was disappointed to say the least when the item arrived.
Mike, I cannot post any of Bill Tobins lists of cloth badges ( he did literally sell anything with a military connection and a number of MHS members at Derby yesterday remember spending their pocket money with him ).
