Its most unusual for a police badge to be in brass - white metal or chrome yes, but not brass. On the balance of probabilities, its not a police related item. That said the minute I get rid, someone will tell me what it is. The fact that it's been made in two parts suggests that they were produced in small quantities. Perhaps another forum member will ID it.
