Belt?

Yet another great photo with lots of detail. Thank you for that. I was looking at the fellow in the back row #5 from the left and wondering about the belt he was wearing. It is clearly not the "08" pattern, nor is it one of the darker leather belts. It almost has more in common with the "37" pattern web belt, but clearly not that. Was there an interim web style belt issued or tested? in any event it is a real pleasure to look at these photos, the more you look the more you see.
