Thanks for the link Mike, like you I know nothing about buttons, I just thought I should include them in my lists as I seem to be gathering a few now.
Chris, I agree there are some variations, could that be down to different manufacturers or do you think it's a different regiment?
Tim, that would be fantastic. I have tried after I saw your post but it doesn't seem to unscrew. I didn't want to force it in case I damage the button.
I take it there are no clues, like a particular maker etc.
