I have attended some of the official commemorative parades at Delville Wood in France during my previous career and I have laid official poppy wreaths at both the cemetary and memorial.

A seperate ceremony was also held at the Arq La Bataille cemetary close to Dieppe where members of the South African Labour Corps are buried.

The poppy is the symbol of the South African sacrifices made in ww1 and is therefore correct.

I would greatly appreciate the date/s that the ceremony will be held as I will be in the United Kingdom on various business trips in 2011.
