Here are the CEF Black Watch officer's badges for the 13th and 42nd battalions. They are both marked MACDOUGALL'S LONDON. The badges Roy and I posted above are post-WW1.
The 13th is inscribed K R Townsend. His rank and full name is Lt Kirby Robert Townsend and he attested on December 30th 1915.
Both hard to find badges but I think the 42nd is slightly more so.
