Sorry, I think I may have put this in the wrong section as it should be in the infantry section. I have been looking around for other badges like it but the ones designated officers seem to have a silver 105 with bars across where as this is pressed. Is this likely to be other ranks?

I have found this information:

1914 •105th Regina Fusiliers become allied with King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry (K.O.Y.L.I.)
• Further change in Regimental title occurs in that civic name is incorporated, 105th Regina Fusiliers (Saskatoon)

So this would tie in with the KOYLI connection.
