Ha, yes, the "Ron" collection has reared its head again!

Ron was a collector who cared little for what he added to his collection and if he didn't have it, he would get it made up. The badge shown in the opening post being an example. I would argue with him constantly about the merits of his collection to no avail. All I would get was "it must of existed because I have one".

To be fair, the person selling the badges is not a militaria dealer.

Anyway, Ron gave me the howler shown below some time ago, which he had made up. This thread has reminded me that I need to mark it as a fake.
