Default KOSB Minden day parade in Berwick today 27th July 2019

On the way home from a few days in Kelso we decided to visit Berwick on Tweed ( that famous English Town ) this morning and were pleasantly surprised to find it was the day of their Minden Day parade for The Kings Own Scottish Borderers at their old Barracks at Berwick

Amazed by the shear number of former soldiers on parade and one of the men giving out the roses,as well as being a Korea veteran had a General Service Medal and a Campaign Service Medal but most interesting he appeared to be wearing what looked like a Territorial Efficiency Medal with HAC ribbon.

Some pictures attached of what was a most enjoyable few hours.

P.B.
