Intrigued by the "Founder Organisations" mentioned in your post. Presumably you mean that it came with a
Comrades of the Great War or similar badge?
I've got a "Comrades" badge with an SWB also and a Comrades badge with that charming little "1920" enamel tag that you sometimes see. I think that there is a "1921" example that you see from time to time.
The BL website says that these are for members present at the first conference or something of that ilk. True or another myth?
Some years back I bought (and still have!) a large-sized Comrades badge numbered "250" or a number not far off that.
Definitely one of the first to join!
