Hope you are well?
I reckon we are now getting close to around 20'ish known K.C a/a badges including some doubtful ones amongst that number.
The list of changes C4717 in November 1951 may well have been more accurate than first thought for the introduction of a/a badges into Service.

Certainly if I was a Director of Gaunt, Firmin, Grove, R.A Hughes, Buttons Ltd, Smith & Wright, Timings etc I would make sure that I can produce items ready for Service when existing stocks of metal badges were exhausted.
Be one step ahead of the opposition if you like!
These early K.C badges appear to have varied slider styles.
Williams badge I.M.O may be an early Firmin or Buttons Ltd badge from the piccy he has posted?

Please, don't purchase the 100 Glider Pilot badges as the Airborne fraternity on the Forum will pay top dollar for them! lol
