Apart from the one you mention and the seemingly field made example shown, there was never a metal osd badge for the WG afaik. The example shown is more likely to be for an or's cap, probably because they didn't have one and made it from a st.
The Birmingham mint? badge was on blades, I have seen them for sale as osd badges.
I have a maker marked WG st.
