...yep...it has a raw and stitched edge, with small wire hooks inside to take the chinstrap...notice that the hat is being worn with the press-stud fastening on the right hand side! - this owner had no intention of ever wearing his hat with the brim turned up, nor does the brim sit comfortably with the stud attached so it seems to have mostly been worn throughout its service life in the down position...(8{
