The spurious items such a cartridge case with a penny thro it, etc are as a result of members of another group I belong to 'Military fakes and forgeries' frustration with E bays failure to do nothing after numerous complaints that the same sellers were regularly posting fakes for sale on their auction site.
It was some ones way of pointing out on that site that items are not kosher which is why they are obviously absurd such as WWI plane marking on DPM fabric etc.
The museum on the menin road which was a cafe' that shut down and a tool shed appear regularly.
