hi guys your descriptions were very accurate more than my description was anyway it was roughly 3 inches in height and further research proved it was a martingale motto from the Crimean war and possibly the infamous Charge Of the Light Brigade. this is going on ebay today for some lucky soul (someone has one on there for £259 buy it now)
