Yes Andy, the curved Gaunt mark badges do have a light double score crimp. As though I was unsure of the period of the Gaunt badges I looked for the unmarked clear crimp type-which I have seen on the forum, with a service number, one of yours and one shown by Griff. It looks though that both types are OK for what I wanted. I guess its the same for the most of us that we tend to end up with more than one example of each infantry regiment badge. Regards, Paul.
