Sgts Bi-metal glengarry badge.
Probably one of the most copied badges of all time, you can see dozens of them on Ebay. The numerals are sweated to the overlay which in turn is sweated to the star with no sweat holes. The letters M&P in the motto are misaligned.
I bought this badge from a knowlegeable and reputable dealer some years ago, he liked it and I am 90% sure its right. This is the only example I've seen that does not have that flash of white metal material that joins the two numerals together. I also note the 42 impression on the reverse this is barely visible on the restrikes. You can make your own minds up.
