The two, three, four and five bar insignia denote cadet rank within the cadet wing. There is one five-bar position, that of Cadet Wing Commander. There are considerably more than 15 two-bar positions. There are 13 squadrons, each of several flights and each flight has three sections, each section commanded by a two-bar cadet.
