“Newton Constabulary” armband
I recently got this in a trade, it measures 9 ½” x 2 ½” and appears to have been sewn on to something (an armband?). No “Newton Constabulary” is known of in the UK and the only references I can find online refer to a sub-unit of the Massachusetts State Guard just after the First World War who, amongst other things, policed Boston during the police strike of September 1919. I’d really like to know more before I move it on - perhaps our American members can help?
