They did? (I am aware that the "museum" bit carries as much weight as "it was my grandads" or "Found in a loft / barn / in a pot at the end of a rainbow").
Commissioned by a museum for legitimate sale at their souvenir shop or just a bunch of fakes aquired for sale as genuine by an "enterprising" chap who ran a museum?
