British East Indies? WW II parachute wing
Here I have a (British?) parachute wing coming from an old Dutch collection. This type is unknown to me. Could be coming from the special ops unit that operated, from Ceylon, in the Dutch East Indies: Korps Insulinde, related to (not part of) Force 136. They got their airborne training in the British East Indies. But some were already parachute qualified in the UK before they were transferred to Insulinde. Any thoughts?
