That looks like the badge recently sold on eBay for£45.
I believe there are modern fakes of Newfoundland badges doing the rounds on eBay. The sellers other CEF badge were modern fakes although claimed to be genuine. Also I have seen Newfoundland badges in auction houses recently listed along side obvious other fakes that make them all questionable. I.e. lockdales etc.
Be very wary of any Newfoundland badges on eBay now.
