Cool Queen's Edinburgh Rifle Volunteers, Royal Scots badge ?

Hi all,

Please don't mention the cricket, sorry just found my British passport - aren't we playing well!

Anyway I picked this badge up which thought was The Company Badge of the Queen's Edinburgh Rifle Volunteers, The Royal Scots, circa 1860 (Bloomer 181). Bloomer notes that this badge should not be confused with 105th Lanarkshire Rifle Volunteers although looking up the 105th Lanarkshire Rifle Volunteers in the index it cross-references the same badge at figure 181.

The title of my badge on the garter strap is CLANNA NAN GAIDHEAL RI GUAILLIBH A GHEILE, however, the one in Bloomer has CLANNA NAN GAIDHEAL A GUAILLIBH GHEILE. See my confusion close but not the same.

The badge is cast silver with copper lugs east-west and measures 53x41mm.

I would appreciate guidance please.

Regards in advance, Dean.
