The IG Pagri is an example of the undress sabtetache badge worn by the 4 RIDG and used by the IG for the same purpose 1900-1902. I believe yours is a modern reproduction.
The 1935 Pagri stars are shown below with other stars for a size comparison, the officer' version is pierced (c) the other ranks version is not (d). Prior to 1935 the forage cap star was the approved star for the pagri but was not worn by the regiment as being too small.
