Hi Keith, WW1 New Zealand manufactured lanyards were typically khaki or plaited leather for officers, and khaki or red for infantry and green for mounted rifles.
White lanyards were also a favourite colour for the NZASC, and was also commonly worn by the NZA, as can be seen in the photos of Gunner Emmins and the Clark Brothers. John Clark is wearing a white lanyard and William is wearing what I suspect to be a red lanyard.

As for the corporals uniform on Ebay, it is British manufactured, as is the lemon squeezer, so I highly suspect the lanyard with the grouping is also British made, and sadly not my area of knowledge, it looks good IMO.
