Searching for the Nairn Club I landed on the National Library of Scotland's Scottish Post Office Directories

The chapter with Edinburgh clubs (1898/1899) gave me two entries:
- new club, 8-5 princes street, established 1787
- northern club, 91 george street, now the Royal Northern Club, founded 1854.
Both are contenters for this button.
The backmark is in a wide range: 1845-1907.
