The style of the dragon is quite different - especially lack of a crown. I was given to understand that my photo was a 1892 - 1902 Hong Kong Regiment collar badge. This Regiment was disbanded in 1902 and most of the officers joined the newly named 67th Punjabis in 1903.
However, I have never seen a photo of someone in the HKR wearing this or any other collar badge, though admittedly there are few photos of them after the 1900 China War.
I was hoping someone might have one and be able to shed some light on the badge.
