Your badge is genuine and from the same die as other examples I’ve seen with the correct Lambourne mark.
If it’s too ‘rustic’ for you I’d be happy to take it off your hands as I have a bit of a penchant for their wares.
Lambourne used several different styles of slider during their time, which I personally believe was WW1 only.
My guess is they, at least to some extent, potentially bought these in rather than making them themselves as this would account for the high degree of variation seen. That is purely speculation on my part, however.
