I am looking for some help in identifying a military badge from a photograph. It was taken (we think) in 1939 or 1940. You can see the label badge quite clearly. The gentleman in the photograph is my grandad and lived in Edinburgh. We have no idea about his whereabouts during the war and he passed away in 1972. Any help welcome.
