1916 OWS variants
Here are the reverses of a small selection of 1916 "triangles".
Of interest is the spread of numbering styles, numbering positions and fonts as well as the different ways that the wearers have personalised them.
Someone has clearly copied cap badge loops (possibly worried that the standard pin wasn't secure enough) and another owner has added her(?) name ("A. SHACKLETON") to the reverse.
I'd also not noticed that the badge with the service bars (refer previous posts for a front view) has a "B" prefix to the number.
Also observe the size differences between the two Wylie round cornered badges.
The badges vary in thickness too.
