Just got round to weighing my badges :

1) Gaunt : 10.0g
2) Wylie : 10.0g
3) Wylie Rounded : 11.9g

A significant difference which seems to indicate (at least to me) that there was a change in either the die or the manufacturing process.
Also , if the 'rounded corner' version was simply an after manufacture 'modification' then where are all the 'heavy' Wylie sharp corner badges ?

Another point about Wylie badges is that there are 2 different makers marks :

1) WYLIE & CO.LONDON (all on one line).

2) J.A WYLIE & co
........LONDON (on two lines).

Any idea if this was date related ?
