Some observations about the place the picture was taken.
As I said, very, very Dutch.
Houses build in the 30's. Well to do area. Can be in almost every town around the country. Does not show war damage, but apart from cities in the front line (Arnhem comes to mind) many other places (specially Holland proper) were not really in the fighting scene (although some places were bombed by accident). There was however hunger in the west. Apart from the fact that almost every tree was cut for burning, you won't see much of that on buildings.
I would not be surprised if those houses would still stand. Maybe a bit changed by e.g. more modern sunscreens. This type of housing is much loved these days and copies in this style are build in new housing areas.
